Get Out The Vote - Volunteer to Support Our Candidates

Phone Banking – call Claverack voters from your home to Get Out the Vote. We provide the script and who to call. Call low turnout Dem, Green Party or Working Families voters or left leaning Unaffiliated voters to get to the polls TO VOTE ROW A for our Democratic candidates. Call absentee ballot voters to return their ballots before the deadline.

Write Postcards – CC Democratic Committee provides the list of voters, post cards, sample messages and the stamps. This can be done while watching TV! Or at a get together with a few other postcard writing friends.

Election Day Poll Watcher – Poll watchers are the eyes and ears at a poll site to ensure free and fair elections. Shifts in Claverack are 3-4 hours long depending on the number of volunteers. 1 Hour training is required. Training session provided either in person or on Zoom. • Tuesday, October 18 from 1:30-2:30 pm

• Monday, October 24 from 7pm-8 pm

Zoom training:

• Wednesday, October 19 from 7pm to 8 pm

• Friday, October 28 from 9am to 10 am

Write Letters to the Editor – Pick a candidate and say why you will vote for them. We can provide effective letter writing strategies and how to send your letter to the local media outlets.
