Who We Are

Welcome to the Claverack Democrats! We are a dynamic and diverse group of long-time residents, new arrivals, and part-time residents who choose to participate actively in the civic life of the Town of Claverack, which includes the Village of Philmont. We share the goals of building a just and inclusive community and improving the quality of life for all our residents.

 

We work to elect leaders for local, county-wide, and state offices. We value open governance and free and fair elections, and we support community participation in public meetings, on local boards, through volunteer efforts, and, above all, by VOTING. 

 

We celebrate our agricultural economy, our beautiful environment, and the growing diversity of the people who live here.
